Left Hand Drive Vehicles

Left Hand Drive vehicles are allowed to be import in the country.

Age Restriction

Vehicles over five years are not allowed to be imported in the country. Volume of the engine must not exceed 3 liters.

Duties & Taxes

Used Cars Import Duties And Taxes in Kazakhstan

  • 5 years and older vehicles will be charge the duty rate will be Euro 4 per cc for engines of 1800cc-3000cc
  • Customs duty on an engine of 3000cc will be Euro 12 000, with VAT standing at 12 percent.
  • For cars of 5 years and older vehicles with an engine of over 3000cc, the duty rate has been raised to Euro 5.8 per cubic centimeter.
  • Customs duty on an engine of 4000cc will make up Euro 23 000, with VAT standing at 12 percent.
