Left Hand Drive Vehicles

Left Hand Drive Vehicles are allowed to be import in the Country. Right hand vehicles are prohibited. All right hand drive vehicles are not allowed for registration unless they are for special purpose. Duty rates on importation of vehicle depend upon the class of the vehicle one is importing.

Inspection

Inspection on the used vehicle is required before importing it in Gambia. Importer should provide original or certified copy of the vehicle inspection certificate from the country of origin.
